Blanchemer Lake is a glacial cirque. Around fifteen meters deep and covering an area of approximately 9 hectares, this lake is said (according to legend) to be the domain of a fairy.

A waterfall in the Vosges mountains, it is located in the commune of Gérardmer.

The Vosges Mountains boast some beautiful natural forest sites. Walking there is truly enchanting.

Disconnection and Wonder in the Vosges.

Located at the foot of the Hohneck massif, on the Alsatian side, Lake Fischboedle often served as a setting for the Strasbourg painter, Jean-Nicolas Karth (1795-1878). The lake is bordered by numerous hiking trails.
